Arjen Robben, Bayern Munich's forward has announced his retirement as far as international football is concerned. This came up especially after his 2 goal score failed to hand his country, Holland a ticket to Russia 2018 world cup
From the standings, it is obvious that his country holland wont be going for 2018 world cup to be hosted by Russia. Robben, a left footed Bayern Winger revealed his intentions after realizing that his country will not be performing in the upcoming world cup in Russia come 2018.
According to him, he would like to focus on his club career. He also sees his decision as an opportunity to pass the game to the younger generation.
Robben began playing for his senior national team back in 2003 and has scored 37 goals in 96 different games.
He is indeed a good player as his record has shown
